The hope was that this product would help pull the hydrocarbons into solution while deodorizing/masking the unpleasant odors. This chemical was de-foamed so that foaming would not become a problem in the scrubber.

After running the scrubber with our chemical for a day, the results were even better than expected. The product was said to have done very well on masking the odors, leaving the exhaust gas smelling 'cherry-like'. Second, the liquid was brown to black in color, a clear indication that hydrocarbons had indeed been captured. Third, the customer only consumed one carbon drum.

Using their previous method and chemical, they used three 3 drums of carbon. D-ODORIT 100 saved the customer time and money for this particular job.
